Xcel Energy – Utility Rebates
Xcel Energy offers rebate programs to help you improve your home’s energy efficiency. Heat Pump rebate programs require you to work with an approved participating contractor, like Tri Peaks Air. We have completed the specialized training and qualifications necessary for Xcel’s contractor rebate eligibility.
Type: Cash-back incentives for switching to High-efficiency Air-sourced heat pumps.
Amount: Up to $10,000 – varies based on heat pump type
Eligibility: Any residential Xcel Energy customer in Colorado who installs a qualifying “Cold-Climate” certified system. Rebate amounts vary based on the SEER2 and HSPF2 ratings of the equipment.

Carrier Cool Cash

Eligibility: Homeowners who purchase qualifying Carrier equipment during the promotional spring and fall windows. This can be stacked with all other rebates! For the Spring window equipment must be installed by 6/30/2026.

Colorado Energy Office – Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR program)
A state-administered federal initiative designed to make high-efficiency electric upgrades affordable for every household in Colorado.
Type: A point-of-sale rebate that covers a significant portion of a heat pump installation.
Amount: Up to $13,000 – dependent on income qualification and zip code
Eligibility: Colorado homeowners based on your household’s annual income relative to the Area Median Income (AMI). We encourage all homeowners to complete the verification form to see if you qualify.

State of Colorado Heat Pump Tax Credit
